ESC headquarters is located at Hanscom Air Force Base near Bedford, MA. Hanscom is unique in the Air Force. Our workplace resembles a college campus with park-like open spaces, a health club, day care and other amenities available to our civilian employees. Also unique, 75% of our nearly 3,800 employees are civilians working across our business lines: Data Integration and Presentation; Air Battle Management and Weather; Enterprise Business Systems; and Airborne, Space and Ground Networks. Even the mission at Hanscom is different – instead of focusing on aircraft, we provide worldwide management and support to advanced electronic systems.

Hanscom offers one of the most exciting, high-tech campus environments in the U.S. – along the Route 128 corridor in Greater Boston. Hanscom Air Force Base isn’t what you might think of when you imagine a military base. Our innovative workplace is as cutting-edge as the technologies we develop at ESC.

Working in any of our organizations demands the same skills and responsibilities as the types of positions you would hold at a private-sector corporation. Your work, however, may be on a much grander scale – just like our mission. That's because what we do is imperative to U.S. military operations and other defense organizations around the globe. So, you'll not only find yourself working on some of the most innovative projects around, you’ll also be working with some of the most intelligent individuals in a state-of-the-art, forward-thinking environment that serves your nation.
