Our Directorates

The United States spends more than $14 billion a year on the C2ISR and cyber systems developed, acquired, fielded and sustained by ESC’s C2ISR Directorate. Be part of a team that ensures aerospace superiority by delivering integrated, transformational information operations, kill chain, cyber and communication capabilities to our joint forces. Do your part to support five major commands (MAJCOMs), four U.S. services, seven combatant commands (COCOMs), four national agencies, NORAD and NATO in one of our six units:

- COCOM C2
- Force Protection
Battle Management Directorate
We acquire integrated surveillance, battle planning, battle management and battle execution capabilities to meet the needs of U.S. and allied/coalition warfighters. Our goal is to make sure military leadership has the knowledge they need to decide and act in any situation. Here, you’ll be a part of a team that delivers superior war-fighting capabilities focused on decision dominance in the airborne battle management arena, working in one of our four units:
- Aerial Ground Surveillance Systems
- Aerospace Management Systems
- Aerial Air Surveillance Systems
- Airspace Mission Planning
Cyber and Netcentric Directorate
Enable decisive combat operations as part of the Cyber and Netcentric Directorate. We work to deliver netcentric solutions that drive dynamic integration of information/systems in air, space and cyberspace. You will be part of a team that develops, acquires, deploys and sustains cyberspace, communications, cryptologic and space/nuclear network capabilities across the Air Force and other services and communities.
Enterprise Logistics Directorate
Working primarily out of Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio, this directorate empowers the warfighter to leverage information as an effective weapon. To do that, we develop, field, operate and sustain a computer system that gives stakeholders universal access to consistent, real-time information. The President, Secretary of Defense, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, unified combat commanders and others use the systems and capabilities ESC procures and contracts to direct military forces. Support your nation with the Enterprise Logistics Directorate in one of our two units:
- Expeditionary Combat Support Systems
- Logistics Legacy Systems
Enterprise Information Systems Directorate
We provide systems used worldwide by virtually every airman, civilian and retiree – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Through the development and maintenance of information and force protection systems, this Directorate supports the worldwide financial, contracting, business and security needs of the United States Air Force and the Department of Defense. We work to enhance weapon system readiness with information and force protection systems.
