Contract Management

As a buyer of complex, advanced equipment and systems, you'll have the trust of your nation in making purchases that fulfill missions while getting the best value for the taxpayer. This job requires business skills as well as experience in using various types of contracts, techniques or requirements (such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation or FAR) related to contracting or procurement, including contract negotiation and administration. Systems Engineers at ESC manage the design and implementation of systems that bring advanced information and communications functions into the office, the cockpit, the mountaintop radar station, the jungle landing strip and other challenging venues. Use solid economic and accounting principles and practices to ensure programs are progressing properly and business practices comply with federal financial regulations as a financial and budget manager or analyst. Project Management

You can lead the "big picture" as a project manager with ESC. Ensure your team satisfies customer requirements in a timely manner and that your accomplishments work where it counts: with the user in the field. This job requires not only general business skills, but also proven managerial capabilities in guiding the technical and business sides of projects. Opportunities include:

  • Acquisition Program Manager

IT Specialist

Senior information technology (IT) specialist in system analysis and/or applications software design and implementation to meet the business requirements of customer organizations. Projects involve analyzing requirements for developing new or modifying existing applications software. The projects may involve the analysis of existing information systems. The incumbent coordinates and consolidates user requirements (e.g. hardware, software and security system implementation efforts) incorporating Air Force core values into everyday work ethics.
